Thomas Edison Competition
2010
The Brockton Historical
Society sponsored the annual Thomas Edison Competition in
the Lingos Auditorium at the Public Library. The event was held March
13th. Third
grade students in Brockton were eligible to submit essays or displays in honor
of
Edison's accomplishments. Trophies and blue ribbons were awarded to the
winners.
Alison Silba of Kennedy School holds her trophy and blue
ribbon for the display on the table behind her father.
Mayor Balzotti attended the event to congradgulate the winners.
